Kalpataru Power share price has zoomed 6% and is presently trading at Rs 928.1.

Meanwhile, the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index is at 56,932.1 (down 0.7%).

Among the top gainers in the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index today are SKF India (up 2.8%) and Lakshmi Machine (up 0.9%).

Carborundum Universal (down 3.7%) and Thermax (down 3.4%) are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, Kalpataru Power has moved up from Rs 904.8 to Rs 928.1, registering a gain of Rs 23.4 (up 2.6%).

On the other hand, the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index has moved up from 54,400.3 to 56,932.1, registering a gain of 4.7% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index stocks during this same period were Bharat Electronics (up 40.0%), HINDUSTAN AERO. (up 18.6%) and ABB (up 17.1%).

The BSE Sensex is at 75,831.0 (down 0.1%).

The top losers among the BSE Sensex today are M&M (down 4.2%) and Bharti Airtel (down 1.5%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Axis Bank and ZOMATO.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 22,906.0 (down 0.1%). M&M and Bharti Airtel are among the top losers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 71,555.2 to 75,831.0, registering a gain of 4,275.8 points (up 6.0%).

Kalpataru Power Financial Update...

Kalpataru Power net profit fell 3.1% YoY to Rs 1,396 million for the quarter ended December 2024, compared to a profit of Rs 1,441 million a year ago. Net sales rose 17.1% to Rs 57,325 million during the period as against Rs 48,958 million in October-December 2023.

For the year ended March 2024, Kalpataru Power reported 18.6% increase in net profit to Rs 5,159 million compared to net profit of Rs 4,350 million during FY23. Revenue of the company grew 20.0% to Rs 196,264 million during FY24.

The current Price to earnings ratio of Kalpataru Power, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 30.6.
