Kalpataru Power share price has zoomed 7% and is presently trading at Rs 1,171.1.

Meanwhile, the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index is at 66,675.4 (down 1.7%).

Lakshmi Machine (down 4.1%) and Siemens (down 3.1%) are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, Kalpataru Power has moved down from Rs 1,207.3 to Rs 1,171.1, registering a loss of Rs 36.3 (down 3.0%).

On the other hand, the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index has moved down from 70,161.4 to 66,675.4, registering a loss of 5.0% during the last 12 months.

The top losers among the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index stocks during this same period were Siemens (down 54.1%), Carborundum Universal (down 48.6%) and ADANI GREEN ENERGY (down 48.0%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 79,813.3 (down 1.0%).

The top losers among the BSE Sensex today are Nestle (down 50.9%) and Bharti Airtel (down 3.4%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Bharti Airtel and Tata Motors.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 24,345.2 (down 1.0%). Nestle and Bharti Airtel are among the top losers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 78,593.1 to 79,813.3, registering a gain of 1,220.2 points (up 1.6%).

Kalpataru Power Financial Update...

Kalpataru Power net profit grew 154.4% YoY to Rs 2,136 million for the quarter ended June 2025, compared to a profit of Rs 840 million a year ago. Net sales rose 34.5% to Rs 61,712 million during the period as against Rs 45,866 million in April-June 2024.

For the year ended March 2025, Kalpataru Power reported 10.0% increase in net profit to Rs 5,673 million compared to net profit of Rs 5,159 million during FY24. Revenue of the company grew 13.7% to Rs 223,158 million during FY25.

The current Price to earnings ratio of Kalpataru Power, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 28.7.
