Indian Stock Market Updates February 3, 2021

MAGMA FINCORP Share Price Up by 11%; BSE 500 Index Up 1.4%

MAGMA FINCORP share price has zoomed 11% and is presently trading at Rs 60.

Meanwhile, the BSE 500 Index is at 19,451 (up 1.4%).

Among the top Gainers in the BSE 500 Index today are MAGMA FINCORP (up 10.8%) and SHRIRAM CITY UNION (up 15.7%).

CRISIL and GODREJ PROPERTIES are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, MAGMA FINCORP has moved up from Rs 55 to Rs 60, registering a gain of Rs 4 (up 6.7%).

On the other hand, the BSE 500 has moved up from 15,248 to 19,451, registering a gain of 4,203 points (up 27.5%) during the last 12 months.

The top buzzing stocks among the BSE 500 Index stocks during this same period were ADANI GREEN ENERGY (up 450.6%), LAURUS LABS (up 308.0%) and DIXON TECHNOLOGIES (up 265.1%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 50,526 (up 1.4%).

The top gainers among the BSE Sensex stocks today are INDUSIND BANK (up 10.3%), POWER GRID (up 8.0%) and SUN PHARMA (up 5.4%). Other gainers include M&M (up 3.6%) and TECH MAHINDRA (up 3.1%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are SBI and ICICI BANK.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 14,869 (up 1.4%). The top gainers in the NSE Nifty include INDUSIND BANK (up 9.6%), POWER GRID (up 7.5%) and SUN PHARMA (up 5.1%). Other gainers include TATA MOTORS (up 4.9%) and COAL INDIA (up 4.4%) are among the top gainers in NSE Nifty.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 39,736 to 50,526, registering a gain of 10,790 points (up 27.04%).

MAGMA FINCORP Financial Update...

MAGMA FINCORP net profit down at Rs 121 million for the quarter ended June 2019, compared to a loss of Rs 767 million a year ago. Net Sales rose 1.0% to Rs 6.3 billion during the period as against Rs 6.2 billion in April-June 2018.

For the year ended March 2018, MAGMA FINCORP reported 1710.1% increase in net profit to Rs 2.3 billion compared to net profit of Rs 127.0 million during FY17.

Revenue of the company grew 4.7% to Rs 22 billion during FY18.

The current Price to earnings ratio of MAGMA FINCORP, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 5.5x.
