MAHANAGAR GAS Share Price Up by 10%; BSE OIL & GAS Index Up 1.3%

MAHANAGAR GAS share price has zoomed 10% and is presently trading at Rs 1,023.

Meanwhile, the BSE OIL & GAS Index is at 13,527 (up 1.3%).

Among the top Gainers in the BSE OIL & GAS Index today are MAHANAGAR GAS (up 9.7%) and INDRAPRASTHA GAS (up 10.0%).

CASTROL INDIA (down 0.4%) and RELIANCE IND. (down 0.7%) are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, MAHANAGAR GAS has moved down from Rs 1,036 to Rs 1,023, registering a loss of Rs 14 (down 1.6%).

On the other hand, the BSE OIL & GAS has moved down from 15,127 to 13,527, loss of 1,600 points (down 11.1%) during the last 12 months.

The top buzzing stocks among the BSE OIL & GAS Index stocks during this same period were RELIANCE IND. (up 25.4%) and INDRAPRASTHA GAS (up 23.1%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 44,407 .

The top gainers among the BSE Sensex stocks today are NTPC (up 2.5%), ASIAN PAINTS (up 1.3%) and MARUTI SUZUKI (up 1.2%). Other gainers include BAJAJ AUTO (up 1.2%) and NESTLE (up 1.1%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are NTPC and ONGC.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 13,035 (up 0.1%). The top gainers in the NSE Nifty include TATA MOTORS (up 4.1%), NTPC (up 2.4%) and BAJAJ AUTO (up 2.1%). Other gainers include GAIL (up 1.9%) and EICHER MOTOR (up 1.8%) are among the top gainers in NSE Nifty.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 40,889 to 44,407, registering a gain of 3,518 points (up 8.27%).
