MAHANAGAR GAS Share Price Up by 14%; BSE OIL & GAS Index Up 0.6%

MAHANAGAR GAS share price has zoomed 14% and is presently trading at Rs 1,062.

Meanwhile, the BSE OIL & GAS Index is at 13,537 (up 0.6%).

Among the top Gainers in the BSE OIL & GAS Index today are MAHANAGAR GAS (up 13.8%) and INDRAPRASTHA GAS (up 11.3%).

CASTROL INDIA (down 0.4%) and RELIANCE IND. (down 0.4%) are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, MAHANAGAR GAS has moved up from Rs 1,036 to Rs 1,062, registering a gain of Rs 26 (up 2.1%).

On the other hand, the BSE OIL & GAS has moved down from 15,127 to 13,537, loss of 1,590 points (down 11.7%) during the last 12 months.

The top buzzing stocks among the BSE OIL & GAS Index stocks during this same period were RELIANCE IND. (up 25.9%) and INDRAPRASTHA GAS (up 24.6%).

The top gainers among the BSE Sensex stocks today are BAJAJ AUTO (up 2.9%), TITAN (up 1.6%) and ASIAN PAINTS (up 1.6%). Other gainers include TECH MAHINDRA (up 1.2%) and MARUTI SUZUKI (up 1.0%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are NTPC and ITC.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 13,035 (down 0.1%). The top gainers in the NSE Nifty include TATA MOTORS (up 4.5%), BAJAJ AUTO (up 2.5%) and HERO MOTOCORP (up 2.0%). Other gainers include BRITANNIA (up 1.7%) and TITAN (up 1.5%) are among the top gainers in NSE Nifty.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 40,889 to 44,407, registering a gain of 3,518 points (up 8.11%).
