MTAR TECHNOLOGIES share price has plunged 10% and is presently trading at Rs 6,391.4.

Meanwhile, the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index is at 77,750.8 (down 0.4%).

Among the top losers in the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index today are Thermax (down 2.8%) and Siemens (down 1.7%).

Finolex Cables (up 2.0%) and TIMKEN INDIA (up 1.1%) are among the top gainers today.

Over the last one year, MTAR TECHNOLOGIES has moved up from Rs 1,771.3 to Rs 6,391.4, registering a gain of Rs 4,620.1 (up 260.8%).

On the other hand, the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index has moved up from 71,316.6 to 77,750.8, registering a gain of 9.0% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index stocks during this same period were Bharat Forge (up 45.0%), BHEL (up 44.0%) and ADANI GREEN ENERGY (up 42.4%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 74,251.3 (up 0.4%).

The top gainers among the BSE Sensex today are ICICI Bank (up 2.5%) and Kotak Bank (up 1.6%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are ICICI Bank and Eternal Ltd.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 23,285.6 (up 0.3%). ICICI Bank and Kotak Bank are among the top gainers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved down from 82,445.2 to 74,251.3, registering a loss of 8,193.9 points (down 9.9%).

MTAR TECHNOLOGIES Financial Update...

MTAR TECHNOLOGIES net profit grew 222.7% YoY to Rs 443 million for the quarter ended March 2026, compared to a profit of Rs 137 million a year ago. Net sales rose 67.2% to Rs 3,061 million during the period as against Rs 1,831 million in January-March 2025.

For the year ended March 2025, MTAR TECHNOLOGIES reported 5.7% decrease in net profit to Rs 529 million compared to net profit of Rs 561 million during FY24. Revenue of the company grew 16.4% to Rs 6,760 million during FY25.

The current Price to earnings ratio of MTAR TECHNOLOGIES, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 209.1.
