Indian Stock Market Updates February 1, 2021

NCC Share Price Up by 11%; BSE REALTY Index Up 3.5%

NCC share price has zoomed 11% and is presently trading at Rs 66.

Meanwhile, the BSE REALTY Index is at 2,513 (up 3.5%).

Among the top Gainers in the BSE REALTY Index today is NCC (up 11.5%).

Over the last one year, NCC has moved up from Rs 57 to Rs 66, registering a gain of Rs 8 (up 14.7%).

On the other hand, the BSE REALTY has moved up from 2,499 to 2,513, registering a gain of 14 points (up 0.1%) during the last 12 months.

The top buzzing stocks among the BSE REALTY Index stocks during this same period were GODREJ PROPERTIES (up 21.4%), SOBHA (up 5.7%) and DLF (up 3.4%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 47,117 (up 1.6%).

The top gainers among the BSE Sensex stocks today are INDUSIND BANK (up 9.2%), ICICI BANK (up 5.9%) and HDFC (up 3.9%). Other gainers include HDFC BANK (up 2.7%) and L&T (up 2.5%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are INDUSIND BANK and SBI.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 13,858 (up 1.5%). The top gainers in the NSE Nifty include INDUSIND BANK (up 9.1%), ICICI BANK (up 6.1%) and HDFC (up 3.8%). Other gainers include HINDALCO (up 2.6%) and HDFC BANK (up 2.6%) are among the top gainers in NSE Nifty.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 40,967 to 47,117, registering a gain of 6,150 points (up 14.82%).

NCC Financial Update...

NCC net profit down at Rs 667 million for the quarter ended March 2020, compared to a loss of Rs 1 billion a year ago. Net Sales rose 2.3% to Rs 23.3 billion during the period as against Rs 22.8 billion in January-March 2019.

For the year ended March 2019, NCC reported 153.1% increase in net profit to Rs 6.8 billion compared to net profit of Rs 2.7 billion during FY18.

Revenue of the company grew 53.7% to Rs 129 billion during FY19.

The current Price to earnings ratio of NCC, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 12.1x.
