Natco Pharma Plunges 5%; BSE HEALTHCARE Index Up 0.0%

Meanwhile, the BSE HEALTHCARE index is at 46,290.3 .
Among the top losers in the BSE HEALTHCARE index today are ALEMBIC PHARMA (down 1.8%) and METROPOLIS HEALTHCARE (down 1.6%).
ERIS LIFESCIENCES (up 2.1%) and Aurobindo Pharma (up 1.4%) are among the top gainers today.
Over the last one year, Natco Pharma has moved up from Rs 878.4 to Rs 888.7, registering a gain of Rs 10.3 (up 1.2%).
On the other hand, the BSE HEALTHCARE index has moved up from 42,648.8 to 46,290.3, registering a gain of 8.5% during the last 12 months.
The top gainers among the BSE HEALTHCARE index stocks during this same period were LAURUS LABS (up 126.1%), GRANULES INDIA (up 48.9%) and Glenmark Pharma (up 45.9%).

The BSE Sensex is at 73,758.8 (down 1.2%).
The top losers among the BSE Sensex today are TCS (down 7.2%) and Tech Mahindra (down 5.0%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are TCS and ITC.
In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 23,265.3 (down 0.9%). TCS and Tech Mahindra are among the top losers in NSE NIFTY.
Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved down from 81,373.8 to 73,758.8, registering a loss of 7,614.9 points (down 9.4%).
Natco Pharma Financial Update...
Natco Pharma net profit fell 42.5% YoY to Rs 2,333 million for the quarter ended March 2026, compared to a profit of Rs 4,060 million a year ago. Net sales declined 39.5% to Rs 7,391 million during the period as against Rs 12,210 million in January-March 2025.
For the year ended March 2025, Natco Pharma reported 35.7% increase in net profit to Rs 18,834 million compared to net profit of Rs 13,883 million during FY24. Revenue of the company grew 10.8% to Rs 44,295 million during FY25.
The current Price to earnings ratio of Natco Pharma, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 11.6.
