National Buildings Gains 4%; BSE REALTY Index Down 1.1%

National Buildings share price has zoomed 4% and is presently trading at Rs 117.1.

Meanwhile, the BSE REALTY index is at 6,953.3 (down 1.1%).

Among the top gainers in the BSE REALTY index today are MAHINDRA LIFESPACE (up 1.6%) and Phoenix Mill (up 0.8%).

PRESTIGE ESTATES (down 2.6%) and Brigade Enterprises (down 2.4%) are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, National Buildings has moved up from Rs 88.1 to Rs 117.1, registering a gain of Rs 29.0 (up 32.9%).

On the other hand, the BSE REALTY index has moved down from 7,630.9 to 6,953.3, registering a loss of 8.9% during the last 12 months.

The top losers among the BSE REALTY index stocks during this same period were Brigade Enterprises (down 25.6%), Godrej Properties (down 23.8%) and SUNTECK REALTY (down 17.3%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 85,201.7 .

The top losers among the BSE Sensex today are Power Grid Corp. (down 1.6%) and M&M (down 1.3%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Eternal Ltd and Tata Steel.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 26,039.6 (down 0.1%). JSW Steel and Bharat Electronics are among the top losers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 77,155.8 to 85,201.7, registering a gain of 8,045.9 points (up 10.4%).

National Buildings Financial Update...

National Buildings net profit grew 25.4% YoY to Rs 1,566 million for the quarter ended September 2025, compared to a profit of Rs 1,249 million a year ago. Net sales rose 19.0% to Rs 29,102 million during the period as against Rs 24,457 million in July-September 2024.

For the year ended March 2025, National Buildings reported 34.5% increase in net profit to Rs 5,574 million compared to net profit of Rs 4,144 million during FY24. Revenue of the company grew 15.7% to Rs 120,386 million during FY25.

The current Price to earnings ratio of National Buildings, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 51.2.
