OM METALS INFRA Gains 7%; BSE METAL Index Down 0.2%

OM METALS INFRA share price has zoomed 7% and is presently trading at Rs 84.0.

Meanwhile, the BSE METAL index is at 38,179.6 (down 0.2%).

Among the top gainers in the BSE METAL index today are Hindustan Zinc (up 2.0%) and JSW Steel (up 0.2%).

NMDC (down 1.5%) and SAIL (down 0.7%) are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, OM METALS INFRA has moved down from Rs 145.5 to Rs 84.0, registering a loss of Rs 61.5 (down 42.3%).

On the other hand, the BSE METAL index has moved up from 27,746.7 to 38,179.6, registering a gain of 37.6% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE METAL index stocks during this same period were Hindalco (up 58.0%), Vedanta (up 57.7%) and Hindustan Zinc (up 49.0%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 82,996.5 (down 0.7%).

The top losers among the BSE Sensex today are ICICI Bank (down 3.4%) and Tata Motors (down 3.0%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Eternal Ltd and HDFC Bank.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 25,527.9 (down 0.7%). Wipro and ICICI Bank are among the top losers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 76,499.6 to 82,996.5, registering a gain of 6,496.8 points (up 8.5%).

OM METALS INFRA Financial Update...

OM METALS INFRA net profit grew 78.4% YoY to Rs 70 million for the quarter ended September 2025, compared to a profit of Rs 39 million a year ago. Net sales declined 48.1% to Rs 1,238 million during the period as against Rs 2,384 million in July-September 2024.

For the year ended March 2025, OM METALS INFRA reported 23.6% decrease in net profit to Rs 360 million compared to net profit of Rs 471 million during FY24. Revenue of the company fell 36.0% to Rs 7,127 million during FY25.

The current Price to earnings ratio of OM METALS INFRA, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 31.7.
