PENNAR INDUSTRIES share price has plunged 5% and is presently trading at Rs 259.6.

Meanwhile, the BSE METAL index is at 34,017.1 (down 2.1%).

Among the top losers in the BSE METAL index today are Hindalco (down 7.1%) and Jindal Steel (down 1.7%).

APOLLO TUBES (up 1.0%) is among the top gainers today.

Over the last one year, PENNAR INDUSTRIES has moved up from Rs 198.7 to Rs 259.6, registering a gain of Rs 60.9 (up 30.6%).

On the other hand, the BSE METAL index has moved up from 30,965.9 to 34,017.1, registering a gain of 9.9% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE METAL index stocks during this same period were JSW Steel (up 22.0%), Tata Steel (up 20.9%) and SAIL (up 20.4%).

The BSE Sensex is at 83,438.6 .

The top losers among the BSE Sensex today are Power Grid Corp. (down 2.7%) and Eternal Ltd (down 1.5%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Eternal Ltd and SBI.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 25,560.1 (down 0.2%). Hindalco and Grasim Industries are among the top losers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 78,782.2 to 83,438.6, registering a gain of 4,656.3 points (up 5.9%).

PENNAR INDUSTRIES Financial Update...

PENNAR INDUSTRIES net profit grew 21.7% YoY to Rs 321 million for the quarter ended June 2025, compared to a profit of Rs 264 million a year ago. Net sales rose 15.3% to Rs 8,457 million during the period as against Rs 7,335 million in April-June 2024.

For the year ended March 2025, PENNAR INDUSTRIES reported 21.5% increase in net profit to Rs 1,195 million compared to net profit of Rs 984 million during FY24. Revenue of the company grew 3.1% to Rs 32,266 million during FY25.

The current Price to earnings ratio of PENNAR INDUSTRIES, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 27.9.
