PG Electroplast Plunges 4%; BSE FMCG Index Down 0.1%

PG Electroplast share price has plunged 4% and is presently trading at Rs 554.1.

Meanwhile, the BSE FMCG index is at 20,221.8 (down 0.1%).

Among the top losers in the BSE FMCG index today are Hindustan Unilever (down 4.9%) and CCL PRODUCTS (down 3.5%).

Ruchi Soya Industries (up 3.3%) and Marico (up 3.0%) are among the top gainers today.

Over the last one year, PG Electroplast has moved down from Rs 759.6 to Rs 554.1, registering a loss of Rs 205.5 (down 27.0%).

On the other hand, the BSE FMCG index has moved down from 21,131.5 to 20,221.8, registering a loss of 4.3% during the last 12 months.

The top losers among the BSE FMCG index stocks during this same period were Shree Renuka Sugars (down 38.9%), JYOTHY LABS (down 28.9%) and Balrampur Chini (down 26.9%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 85,712.4 (up 0.5%).

The top gainers among the BSE Sensex today are SBI (up 2.5%) and Bajaj Finserv (up 2.1%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Eternal Ltd and Infosys.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 26,194.7 (up 0.6%). Shriram Transport and SBI are among the top gainers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 80,845.8 to 85,712.4, registering a gain of 4,866.6 points (up 6.0%).

PG Electroplast Financial Update...

PG Electroplast net profit fell 87.8% YoY to Rs 24 million for the quarter ended September 2025, compared to a profit of Rs 195 million a year ago. Net sales declined 2.4% to Rs 6,554 million during the period as against Rs 6,713 million in July-September 2024.

For the year ended March 2025, PG Electroplast reported 112.3% increase in net profit to Rs 2,909 million compared to net profit of Rs 1,370 million during FY24. Revenue of the company grew 77.3% to Rs 48,695 million during FY25.

The current Price to earnings ratio of PG Electroplast, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 61.8.
