Puravankara Plunges 4%; BSE REALTY Index Up 0.4%

Meanwhile, the BSE REALTY index is at 6,358.2 (up 0.4%).
Among the top losers in the BSE REALTY index today are MAHINDRA LIFESPACE (down 3.3%) and Sobha (down 2.2%).
Phoenix Mill (up 3.4%) and SUNTECK REALTY (up 1.8%) are among the top gainers today.
Over the last one year, Puravankara has moved up from Rs 231.4 to Rs 244.4, registering a gain of Rs 13.0 (up 5.6%).
On the other hand, the BSE REALTY index has moved down from 7,244.2 to 6,358.2, registering a loss of 12.2% during the last 12 months.
The top losers among the BSE REALTY index stocks during this same period were MAHINDRA LIFESPACE (down 43.2%), DLF (down 27.9%) and Godrej Properties (down 18.5%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?
The BSE Sensex is at 74,659.9 (up 0.4%).
The top gainers among the BSE Sensex today are Power Grid Corp. (up 3.3%) and Hindustan Unilever (up 2.0%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are ZOMATO and Tata Steel.
In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 22,641.9 (up 0.4%). Power Grid Corp. and MUNDRA PORT & SEZ are among the top gainers in NSE NIFTY.
Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 74,086.0 to 74,659.9, registering a gain of 573.9 points (up 0.8%).
Puravankara Financial Update...
Puravankara net profit fell 212.2% YoY to Rs -907 million for the quarter ended December 2024, compared to a profit of Rs 808 million a year ago. Net sales declined 44.5% to Rs 3,182 million during the period as against Rs 5,737 million in October-December 2023.
For the year ended March 2024, Puravankara reported 36.9% decrease in net profit to Rs 420 million compared to net profit of Rs 665 million during FY23. Revenue of the company grew 76.8% to Rs 21,853 million during FY24.
The current Price to earnings ratio of Puravankara, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at -54.4.
