Indian Stock Market Updates January 27, 2021

QUESS CORP Share Price Up by 6%; BSE IT Index Down 0.8%

QUESS CORP share price has zoomed 6% and is presently trading at Rs 576.

Meanwhile, the BSE IT Index is at 26,243 (down 0.8%).

Among the top Gainers in the BSE IT Index today are QUESS CORP (up 6.5%) and L&T TECHONOLOGY (up 5.9%).

ECLERX SERVICES (down 0.2%) and MINDTREE (down 0.8%) are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, QUESS CORP has moved up from Rs 572 to Rs 576, registering a gain of Rs 4 (up 0.4%).

On the other hand, the BSE IT has moved up from 16,098 to 26,243, registering a gain of 10,145 points (up 60.7%) during the last 12 months.

The top buzzing stocks among the BSE IT Index stocks during this same period were TATA ELXSI (up 170.8%), PERSISTENT SYSTEMS (up 109.1%) and FIRSTSOURCE SOLUTIONS (up 106.1%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 48,387 (down 1.5%).

The top gainers among the BSE Sensex stocks today are TECH MAHINDRA (up 2.2%), ULTRATECH CEMENT (up 2.0%) and ITC (up 1.8%). Other gainers include POWER GRID (up 0.9%) and L&T (up 0.8%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are ITC and L&T.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 14,238 (down 1.4%). The top gainers in the NSE Nifty include WIPRO (up 2.7%), SBI LIFE INSURANCE (up 2.3%) and TECH MAHINDRA (up 2.2%). Other gainers include ULTRATECH CEMENT (up 2.2%) and HDFC LIFE INSURANCE (up 1.9%) are among the top gainers in NSE Nifty.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 41,115 to 48,387, registering a gain of 7,272 points (up 15.85%).
