Ramco Systems Plunges 5%; BSE IT Index Down 1.8%

Ramco Systems share price has plunged 5% and is presently trading at Rs 535.8.

Meanwhile, the BSE IT index is at 34,202.4 (down 1.8%).

Among the top losers in the BSE IT index today are CYIENT (down 4.2%) and Birlasoft (down 4.0%).

L&T TECHNOLOGY SERVICES (up 0.1%) and ZENSAR TECHNOLOGIES are among the top gainers today.

Over the last one year, Ramco Systems has moved up from Rs 364.3 to Rs 535.8, registering a gain of Rs 171.6 (up 47.1%).

On the other hand, the BSE IT index has moved down from 42,190.3 to 34,202.4, registering a loss of 18.9% during the last 12 months.

The top losers among the BSE IT index stocks during this same period were ROUTE MOBILE (down 51.8%), HAPPIEST MINDS TECHNOLOGIES (down 45.6%) and Sonata Software (down 43.4%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 83,332.3 .

The top gainers among the BSE Sensex today are ITC (up 4.5%) and Kotak Bank (up 2.9%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are ITC and Tata Motors.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 25,623.8 (down 0.1%). TCS and SBI LIFE INSURANCE are among the top losers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 78,583.8 to 83,332.3, registering a gain of 4,748.5 points (up 6.0%).

Ramco Systems Financial Update...

Ramco Systems net profit grew 131.8% YoY to Rs 32 million for the quarter ended December 2025, compared to a loss of Rs 101 million a year ago. Net sales rose 14.0% to Rs 1,785 million during the period as against Rs 1,566 million in October-December 2024.

For the year ended March 2025, Ramco Systems reported 85.8% increase in net profit to Rs -342 million compared to net loss of Rs 2,417 million during FY24. Revenue of the company grew 12.5% to Rs 5,913 million during FY25.

The current Price to earnings ratio of Ramco Systems, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 91.6.
