SHEELA FOAM share price has zoomed 4% and is presently trading at Rs 920.2.

Meanwhile, the BSE FMCG index is at 20,761.7 (down 1.9%).

Among the top gainers in the BSE FMCG index today are BOM.BURMAH (up 3.5%) and Gujarat Ambuja (up 1.3%).

Godrej Consumer (down 10.5%) and Marico (down 4.4%) are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, SHEELA FOAM has moved down from Rs 1,178.5 to Rs 920.2, registering a loss of Rs 258.3 (down 21.9%).

On the other hand, the BSE FMCG index has moved up from 19,569.7 to 20,761.7, registering a gain of 6.1% during the last 12 months.

The top losers among the BSE Sensex today are Hindustan Unilever (down 3.7%) and Nestle (down 1.9%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Tata Steel and Tata Motors.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 24,585.0 (down 0.4%). Tata Consumer Products and Hindustan Unilever are among the top losers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 69,296.1 to 81,476.9, registering a gain of 12,180.8 points (up 17.6%).

SHEELA FOAM Financial Update...

SHEELA FOAM net profit fell 79.3% YoY to Rs 92 million for the quarter ended September 2024, compared to a profit of Rs 445 million a year ago. Net sales rose 32.5% to Rs 8,127 million during the period as against Rs 6,132 million in July-September 2023.

For the year ended March 2024, SHEELA FOAM reported 3.2% decrease in net profit to Rs 1,945 million compared to net profit of Rs 2,008 million during FY23. Revenue of the company grew 3.8% to Rs 29,823 million during FY24.

The current Price to earnings ratio of SHEELA FOAM, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 61.6.
