SKIPPER share price has plunged 4% and is presently trading at Rs 502.4.

Meanwhile, the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index is at 66,346.2 (down 1.4%).

Among the top losers in the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index today are Thermax (down 3.0%) and Siemens (down 2.8%).

AIA Engineering (up 2.4%) and SCHAEFFLER INDIA (up 0.6%) are among the top gainers today.

Over the last one year, SKIPPER has moved up from Rs 255.1 to Rs 502.4, registering a gain of Rs 247.2 (up 96.9%).

On the other hand, the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index has moved up from 56,061.7 to 66,346.2, registering a gain of 18.3% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index stocks during this same period were Siemens (up 56.7%), Bharat Electronics (up 53.4%) and V GUARD IND. (up 42.3%).

The BSE Sensex is at 78,170.1 .

The top losers among the BSE Sensex today are MUNDRA PORT & SEZ (down 1.8%) and Ultratech Cement (down 1.8%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are ZOMATO and SBI.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 23,675.2 (down 0.1%). APOLLO HOSPITALS and Trent are among the top losers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 71,355.2 to 78,170.1, registering a gain of 6,814.8 points (up 9.6%).

SKIPPER Financial Update...

SKIPPER net profit grew 78.8% YoY to Rs 339 million for the quarter ended September 2024, compared to a profit of Rs 190 million a year ago. Net sales rose 43.7% to Rs 11,097 million during the period as against Rs 7,724 million in July-September 2023.

For the year ended March 2024, SKIPPER reported 129.6% increase in net profit to Rs 817 million compared to net profit of Rs 356 million during FY23. Revenue of the company grew 65.7% to Rs 32,820 million during FY24.

The current Price to earnings ratio of SKIPPER, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 52.9.
