SML ISUZU Gains 19%; BSE AUTO Index Up 0.7%

Meanwhile, the BSE AUTO index is at 61,508.5 (up 0.7%).
Among the top gainers in the BSE AUTO index today are Balkrishna Ind (up 7.1%) and Hero Motocorp (up 3.6%).
TUBE INVESTMENTS OF INDIA (down 2.5%) and Ashok Leyland (down 1.0%) are among the top losers today.
Over the last one year, SML ISUZU has moved up from Rs 3,629.8 to Rs 5,412.7, registering a gain of Rs 1,782.9 (up 49.1%).
On the other hand, the BSE AUTO index has moved up from 52,943.9 to 61,508.5, registering a gain of 16.2% during the last 12 months.
The top gainers among the BSE AUTO index stocks during this same period were Cummins India (up 51.5%), TVS Motors (up 48.5%) and Eicher Motor (up 45.7%).

The top gainers among the BSE Sensex today are Infosys (up 2.2%) and Tech Mahindra (up 1.9%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Eternal Ltd and Bajaj Finance.
In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 24,258.5 . Hero Motocorp and Wipro are among the top gainers in NSE NIFTY.
Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved down from 80,891.0 to 77,660.0, registering a loss of 3,231.1 points (down 4.0%).
SML ISUZU Financial Update...
SML ISUZU net profit fell 5.0% YoY to Rs 636 million for the quarter ended June 2026, compared to a profit of Rs 670 million a year ago. Net sales rose 13.2% to Rs 9,575 million during the period as against Rs 8,459 million in April-June 2025.
For the year ended March 2026, SML ISUZU reported 31.3% increase in net profit to Rs 1,598 million compared to net profit of Rs 1,217 million during FY25. Revenue of the company grew 18.3% to Rs 28,379 million during FY26.
The current Price to earnings ratio of SML ISUZU, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 50.1.
