SOBHA Share Price Down by 5%; BSE REALTY Index Down 1.6%

SOBHA share price has plunged 5% and is presently trading at Rs 468.

Meanwhile, the BSE REALTY Index is at 2,848 (down 1.6%).

Among the top losers in the BSE REALTY Index today is SOBHA (down 5.3%).

PHOENIX MILL (up 0.6%) is among the top gainer today.

Over the last one year, SOBHA has moved up from Rs 316 to Rs 468, registering a gain of Rs 152 (up 48.3%)..

The BSE REALTY has moved up from 2,110 to 2,848, registering a gain of 738 points (up 35.0%) during the last 12 months.

The top buzzing stocks among the BSE REALTY Index stocks during this same period were MAHINDRA LIFESPACE (up 59.1%), DLF (up 53.4%) and GODREJ PROPERTIES (up 52.5%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 50,995 (up 0.1%). The top gainers among the BSE Sensex stocks today are KOTAK MAHINDRA BANK (up 2.8%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are ICICI BANK and KOTAK MAHINDRA BANK.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 15,119 . SBI LIFE INSURANCE (up 5.2%) is among the top gainers in NSE Nifty.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 38,471 to 50,995, registering a gain of 12,524 points (up 31.19%).

SOBHA Financial Update...

SOBHA net profit down at Rs 66 million for the quarter ended June 2020, compared to a loss of Rs 732 million a year ago. Net Sales declined 60.4% to Rs 3.5 billion during the period as against Rs 8.8 billion in April-June 2019.

For the year ended March 2019, SOBHA reported 36.9% increase in net profit to Rs 3.0 billion compared to net profit of Rs 2.2 billion during FY18.

Revenue of the company grew 23.5% to Rs 34 billion during FY19.

The current Price to earnings ratio of SOBHA, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 21.2x.
