STERLING AND WILSON SOLAR share price has plunged 6% and is presently trading at Rs 228.4.

Meanwhile, the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index is at 68,783.5 (down 0.7%).

Among the top losers in the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index today are ADANI GREEN ENERGY (down 2.2%) and BHEL (down 1.8%).

HINDUSTAN AERO. (up 0.6%) and V GUARD IND. (up 0.6%) are among the top gainers today.

Over the last one year, STERLING AND WILSON SOLAR has moved down from Rs 583.0 to Rs 228.4, registering a loss of Rs 354.7 (down 60.8%).

On the other hand, the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index has moved down from 72,355.8 to 68,783.5, registering a loss of 4.9% during the last 12 months.

The top losers among the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index stocks during this same period were Siemens (down 60.6%), SKF India (down 59.1%) and Finolex Cables (down 41.9%).

The BSE Sensex is at 83,777.4 (up 0.4%).

The top gainers among the BSE Sensex today are Asian Paints (up 4.3%) and Bharti Airtel (up 3.0%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Eternal Ltd and Tata Steel.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 25,663.2 (up 0.3%). Asian Paints and Bharti Airtel are among the top gainers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 81,820.1 to 83,777.4, registering a gain of 1,957.3 points (up 2.4%).

STERLING AND WILSON SOLAR Financial Update...

STERLING AND WILSON SOLAR net profit grew 701.0% YoY to Rs 387 million for the quarter ended June 2025, compared to a profit of Rs 48 million a year ago. Net sales rose 92.5% to Rs 17,616 million during the period as against Rs 9,151 million in April-June 2024.

For the year ended March 2025, STERLING AND WILSON SOLAR reported 140.6% increase in net profit to Rs 856 million compared to net loss of Rs 2,108 million during FY24. Revenue of the company grew 107.6% to Rs 63,019 million during FY25.

The current Price to earnings ratio of STERLING AND WILSON SOLAR, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 44.7.
