Sobha Gains 5%; BSE REALTY Index Up 1.2%

Meanwhile, the BSE REALTY index is at 8,821.0 (up 1.2%).
Among the top gainers in the BSE REALTY index today are OBEROI REALTY (up 3.2%) and PRESTIGE ESTATES (up 2.0%).
SUNTECK REALTY (down 1.0%) and DLF (down 0.6%) are among the top losers today.
Over the last one year, Sobha has moved up from Rs 948.2 to Rs 1,657.3, registering a gain of Rs 709.0 (up 74.8%).
On the other hand, the BSE REALTY index has moved up from 5,883.4 to 8,821.0, registering a gain of 49.9% during the last 12 months.
The top gainers among the BSE REALTY index stocks during this same period were Sobha (up 74.8%), OBEROI REALTY (up 61.7%) and PRESTIGE ESTATES (up 60.8%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?
The BSE Sensex is at 80,842.6 (down 1.1%).
The top losers among the BSE Sensex today are Bajaj Finserv (down 1.9%) and Bharti Airtel (down 1.6%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Tata Steel and Tata Motors.
In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 24,449.2 (down 0.9%). Shriram Transport and Bharti Airtel are among the top losers in NSE NIFTY.
Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 69,584.6 to 80,842.6, registering a gain of 11,258.0 points (up 16.2%).
Sobha Financial Update...
Sobha net profit grew 74.6% YoY to Rs 261 million for the quarter ended September 2024, compared to a profit of Rs 149 million a year ago. Net sales rose 25.9% to Rs 9,336 million during the period as against Rs 7,412 million in July-September 2023.
For the year ended March 2024, Sobha reported 52.9% decrease in net profit to Rs 491 million compared to net profit of Rs 1,042 million during FY23. Revenue of the company fell 6.4% to Rs 30,969 million during FY24.
The current Price to earnings ratio of Sobha, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 326.7.
