Sun Pharma share price has plunged 5% and is presently trading at Rs 1,633.2.

Meanwhile, the BSE HEALTHCARE index is at 42,471.8 (up 0.1%).

Among the top losers in the BSE HEALTHCARE index today are Natco Pharma (down 1.1%) and MAX HEALTHCARE INSTITUTE (down 0.5%).

COHANCE LIFESCIENCES (up 15.9%) and ASTRAZENECA PHARMA (up 3.3%) are among the top gainers today.

Over the last one year, Sun Pharma has moved down from Rs 1,688.8 to Rs 1,633.2, registering a loss of Rs 55.6 (down 3.3%).

On the other hand, the BSE HEALTHCARE index has moved up from 40,041.4 to 42,471.8, registering a gain of 6.1% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE HEALTHCARE index stocks during this same period were LAURUS LABS (up 88.1%), Glenmark Pharma (up 50.9%) and Natco Pharma (up 44.2%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 77,353.4 (up 0.9%).

The top gainers among the BSE Sensex today are Asian Paints (up 3.8%) and ICICI Bank (up 3.1%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Kotak Bank and ITC.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 23,992.8 (up 0.9%). Asian Paints and ICICI Bank are among the top gainers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 74,227.1 to 77,353.4, registering a gain of 3,126.3 points (up 4.2%).

Sun Pharma Financial Update...

Sun Pharma net profit grew 16.6% YoY to Rs 34,011 million for the quarter ended December 2025, compared to a profit of Rs 29,175 million a year ago. Net sales rose 13.5% to Rs 155,205 million during the period as against Rs 136,755 million in October-December 2024.

For the year ended March 2025, Sun Pharma reported 13.8% increase in net profit to Rs 109,801 million compared to net profit of Rs 96,484 million during FY24. Revenue of the company grew 8.4% to Rs 525,784 million during FY25.

The current Price to earnings ratio of Sun Pharma, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 35.6.
