TD POWER share price has zoomed 7% and is presently trading at Rs 1,166.7.

Meanwhile, the BSE POWER index is at 7,900.9 (up 0.8%).

Among the top gainers in the BSE POWER index today are ADANI ENERGY SOLUTIONS (up 4.7%) and Thermax (up 2.3%).

KEC INTERNATIONAL (down 1.7%) and NHPC (down 0.6%) are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, TD POWER has moved up from Rs 499.0 to Rs 1,166.7, registering a gain of Rs 667.7 (up 133.8%).

On the other hand, the BSE POWER index has moved up from 6,856.2 to 7,900.9, registering a gain of 15.2% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE POWER index stocks during this same period were ADANI POWER (up 89.3%), ADANI ENERGY SOLUTIONS (up 87.0%) and ADANI GREEN ENERGY (up 55.0%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 78,249.0 (up 0.6%).

The top gainers among the BSE Sensex today are HDFC Bank (up 3.6%) and Indusind Bank (up 2.5%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Kotak Bank and Eternal Ltd.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 24,417.2 (up 0.6%). HDFC Bank and Indusind Bank are among the top gainers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved down from 83,409.7 to 78,249.0, registering a loss of 5,160.7 points (down 6.2%).

TD POWER Financial Update...

TD POWER net profit grew 36.2% YoY to Rs 722 million for the quarter ended March 2026, compared to a profit of Rs 530 million a year ago. Net sales rose 69.2% to Rs 5,892 million during the period as against Rs 3,482 million in January-March 2025.

For the year ended March 2025, TD POWER reported 47.5% increase in net profit to Rs 1,746 million compared to net profit of Rs 1,183 million during FY24. Revenue of the company grew 27.8% to Rs 12,788 million during FY25.

The current Price to earnings ratio of TD POWER, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 76.3.
