THE NEW INDIA ASSURANCE Share Price Down by 5%; BSE 500 Index Down 1.3%

THE NEW INDIA ASSURANCE share price has plunged 5% and is presently trading at Rs 140.

Meanwhile, the BSE 500 Index is at 19,164 (down 1.3%).

Among the top losers in the BSE 500 Index today are THE NEW INDIA ASSURANCE (down 5.3%) and SRF (down 6.5%).

JK TYRE & IND (up 20.0%) and CYIENT (up 19.7%) are among the top gainers today.

Over the last one year, THE NEW INDIA ASSURANCE has moved down from Rs 158 to Rs 140, registering a loss of Rs 18 (down 11.7%)..

The BSE 500 has moved up from 15,921 to 19,164, registering a gain of 3,243 points (up 20.4%) during the last 12 months.

The top buzzing stocks among the BSE 500 Index stocks during this same period were ADANI GREEN ENERGY (up 429.2%), LAURUS LABS (up 359.9%) and DIXON TECHNOLOGIES (up 233.4%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 49,677 (down 1.5%). The top gainers among the BSE Sensex stocks today are BAJAJ AUTO (up 10.7%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are BAJAJ AUTO and TCS.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 14,620 (down 1.5%). BAJAJ AUTO (up 11.1%) and HERO MOTOCORP (up 3.7%) are among the top gainers in NSE Nifty.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 41,529 to 49,677, registering a gain of 8,148 points (up 17.73%).
