Tata Elxsi share price has zoomed 8% and is presently trading at Rs 5,410.6.

Meanwhile, the BSE IT index is at 37,349.9 (up 0.2%).

Among the top gainers in the BSE IT index today are KPIT TECHNOLOGIES (up 3.4%) and INTELLECT DESIGN (up 2.0%).

TANLA SOLUTIONS (down 2.8%) and INDIAMART INTERMESH (down 1.9%) are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, Tata Elxsi has moved down from Rs 7,264.0 to Rs 5,410.6, registering a loss of Rs 1,853.5 (down 25.5%).

On the other hand, the BSE IT index has moved down from 45,184.2 to 37,349.9, registering a loss of 17.3% during the last 12 months.

The top losers among the BSE IT index stocks during this same period were ROUTE MOBILE (down 49.6%), Sonata Software (down 48.9%) and CYIENT (down 44.4%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 84,958.1 (up 0.6%).

The top gainers among the BSE Sensex today are Power Grid Corp. (up 1.7%) and Tata Motors (up 1.5%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Tata Steel and HDFC Bank.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 25,973.3 (up 0.6%). Shriram Transport and Bharat Electronics are among the top gainers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 80,684.5 to 84,958.1, registering a gain of 4,273.6 points (up 5.3%).

Tata Elxsi Financial Update...

Tata Elxsi net profit fell 32.5% YoY to Rs 1,548 million for the quarter ended September 2025, compared to a profit of Rs 2,294 million a year ago. Net sales declined 3.9% to Rs 9,181 million during the period as against Rs 9,551 million in July-September 2024.

For the year ended March 2025, Tata Elxsi reported 0.9% decrease in net profit to Rs 7,849 million compared to net profit of Rs 7,922 million during FY24. Revenue of the company grew 5.0% to Rs 37,290 million during FY25.

The current Price to earnings ratio of Tata Elxsi, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 50.3.
