VODAFONE IDEA Share Price Up by 10%; BSE 500 Index Down 1.1%

VODAFONE IDEA share price has zoomed 10% and is presently trading at Rs 14.

Meanwhile, the BSE 500 Index is at 19,238 (down 1.1%).

Among the top Gainers in the BSE 500 Index today are VODAFONE IDEA (up 10.3%) and TATA METALIK (up 20.0%).

TATA INVESTMENT and DHANUKA AGRITECH are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, VODAFONE IDEA has moved up from Rs 6 to Rs 14, registering a gain of Rs 7 (up 119.9%).

On the other hand, the BSE 500 has moved up from 15,942 to 19,238, registering a gain of 3,296 points (up 19.1%) during the last 12 months.

The top buzzing stocks among the BSE 500 Index stocks during this same period were ADANI GREEN ENERGY (up 358.5%), LAURUS LABS (up 352.6%) and DIXON TECHNOLOGIES (up 255.7%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 49,657 (down 1.0%).

The top gainers among the BSE Sensex stocks today are BHARTI AIRTEL (up 3.7%), ITC (up 1.9%) and BAJAJ AUTO (up 0.5%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are ITC and BHARTI AIRTEL.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 14,617 (down 1.1%). The top gainers in the NSE Nifty include TATA MOTORS (up 6.0%), BHARTI AIRTEL (up 3.7%) and UPL (up 2.3%). Other gainers include ITC (up 1.8%) and BAJAJ AUTO (up 0.5%) are among the top gainers in NSE Nifty.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 41,860 to 49,657, registering a gain of 7,797 points (up 17.26%).

VODAFONE IDEA Financial Update...

VODAFONE IDEA net profit down at Rs 73 billion for the quarter ended September 2020, compared to a loss of Rs 65 billion a year ago. Net Sales declined 2.7% to Rs 107.9 billion during the period as against Rs 110.9 billion in July-September 2019.

For the year ended March 2020, VODAFONE IDEA reported 129.2% increase in net profit to Rs 358.8 billion compared to net profit of Rs 156.5 billion during FY19.

Revenue of the company grew 21.4% to Rs 449 billion during FY20.

The current Price to earnings ratio of VODAFONE IDEA, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at down 0.8x.
