VOLTAS at 52 Week High; BSE 500 Index Up 0.1%

VOLTAS share price has hit a 52-week high at Rs 1,091 (up 0.9%).
Meanwhile, the BSE 500 Index is at 19,852 (up 0.1%).
Among the top gainers in the BSE 500 Index today are VOLTAS (up 0.9%) and TTK PRESTIGE (up 16.4%).
GMDC (down 7.6%) and VARROC ENGINEERING (down 7.5%) are among the top losers today.
Over the last one year, VOLTAS has moved up from Rs 681 to Rs 1,091, registering a gain of Rs 409 (up 59.88%).
The BSE 500 has moved up from 15,780 to 19,852, registering a gain of 4,072 points (up 25.3%) during the last 12 months.
The top gainers among the BSE 500 Index stocks during this same period were ADANI GREEN ENERGY (up 411.7%), DIXON TECHNOLOGIES (up 301.2%) and INTELLECT DESIGN (up 178.6%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?
The BSE Sensex is at 51,513 (down 0.2%). The top gainers among the BSE Sensex stocks today are BAJAJ FINSERV (up 3.0%), M&M (up 2.1%) and TCS (up 1.2%). Other gainers include BAJAJ FINANCE (up 0.9%) and HUL (up 0.9%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are RELIANCE IND. and SUN PHARMA.
In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 15,168 (down 0.1%). BAJAJ FINSERV (up 3.0%) and CIPLA (up 2.5%) are among the top gainers in NSE Nifty.
Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 40,980 to 51,513, registering a gain of 10,533 points (up 25.0%).
VOLTAS Financial Update...
VOLTAS net profit down at Rs 867 million for the quarter ended September 2020, compared to a loss of Rs 1 billion a year ago. Net Sales rose 6.4% to Rs 15.9 billion during the period as against Rs 14.9 billion in July-September 2019.
For the year ended March 2020, VOLTAS reported 11.0% increase in net profit to Rs 6.4 billion compared to net profit of Rs 5.8 billion during FY19.
Revenue of the company grew 7.5% to Rs 77 billion during FY20.
The current Price to earnings ratio of VOLTAS, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 77.4x.
