WALCHANDNAGAR share price has plunged 5% and is presently trading at Rs 184.6.

Meanwhile, the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index is at 68,937.2 (down 0.9%).

Among the top losers in the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index today are Siemens (down 2.1%) and TIMKEN INDIA (down 2.0%).

V GUARD IND. (up 1.1%) and Lakshmi Machine (up 0.5%) are among the top gainers today.

Over the last one year, WALCHANDNAGAR has moved down from Rs 316.0 to Rs 184.6, registering a loss of Rs 131.5 (down 41.6%).

On the other hand, the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index has moved down from 71,238.5 to 68,937.2, registering a loss of 3.2% during the last 12 months.

The top losers among the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index stocks during this same period were Siemens (down 59.9%), ADANI GREEN ENERGY (down 41.0%) and ABB (down 39.2%).

The BSE Sensex is at 82,415.4 (down 0.1%).

The top losers among the BSE Sensex today are Tata Motors (down 2.5%) and Hindustan Unilever (down 1.4%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Tata Motors and Tata Steel.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 25,247.7 (down 0.2%). Tata Motors and Hindustan Unilever are among the top losers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 81,467.1 to 82,415.4, registering a gain of 948.3 points (up 1.2%).

WALCHANDNAGAR Financial Update...

WALCHANDNAGAR net profit fell 500.6% YoY to Rs -104 million for the quarter ended June 2025, compared to a loss of Rs 17 million a year ago. Net sales declined 37.6% to Rs 494 million during the period as against Rs 792 million in April-June 2024.

For the year ended March 2025, WALCHANDNAGAR reported 105.7% decrease in net profit to Rs -860 million compared to net loss of Rs 418 million during FY24. Revenue of the company fell 14.3% to Rs 2,592 million during FY25.

The current Price to earnings ratio of WALCHANDNAGAR, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at -13.2.
