Wockhardt Gains 6%; BSE HEALTHCARE Index Up 1.2%

Wockhardt share price has zoomed 6% and is presently trading at Rs 1,457.9.

Meanwhile, the BSE HEALTHCARE index is at 43,986.2 (up 1.2%).

Among the top gainers in the BSE HEALTHCARE index today are Divis Laboratories (up 3.2%) and LAURUS LABS (up 2.8%).

DR. LAL PATHLABS (down 50.7%) and Procter & Gamble Health (down 0.7%) are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, Wockhardt has moved down from Rs 1,482.0 to Rs 1,457.9, registering a loss of Rs 24.1 (down 1.6%).

On the other hand, the BSE HEALTHCARE index has moved up from 43,952.1 to 43,986.2, registering a gain of 0.1% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE HEALTHCARE index stocks during this same period were LAURUS LABS (up 82.7%), NARAYANA HRUDAYALAYA (up 43.4%) and ASTRAZENECA PHARMA (up 39.9%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 84,990.7 (up 0.6%).

The top gainers among the BSE Sensex today are Tata Motors (up 1.8%) and Reliance Ind. (up 1.4%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Tata Motors and Infosys.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 25,943.9 (up 0.5%). Tata Motors and Bharat Electronics are among the top gainers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 80,684.5 to 84,990.7, registering a gain of 4,306.2 points (up 5.3%).

Wockhardt Financial Update...

Wockhardt net profit grew 612.5% YoY to Rs 820 million for the quarter ended September 2025, compared to a loss of Rs 160 million a year ago. Net sales declined 3.3% to Rs 7,820 million during the period as against Rs 8,090 million in July-September 2024.

For the year ended March 2025, Wockhardt reported 87.9% increase in net profit to Rs -570 million compared to net loss of Rs 4,720 million during FY24. Revenue of the company grew 7.6% to Rs 30,120 million during FY25.

The current Price to earnings ratio of Wockhardt, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at -464.5.
