Among the top gainers in the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index today are ADANI GREEN ENERGY (up 8.0%) and HINDUSTAN AERO. (up 0.9%).
BHEL (down 2.0%) and GRINDWELL NORTON (down 1.8%) are among the top losers today.
Over the last one year, ZODIAC ENERGY has moved up from Rs 161.9 to Rs 571.4, registering a gain of Rs 409.5 (up 252.9%).
On the other hand, the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index has moved up from 53,606.4 to 73,089.1, registering a gain of 36.3% during the last 12 months.
The top gainers among the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index stocks during this same period were Siemens (up 102.9%), Bharat Electronics (up 95.3%) and Thermax (up 77.7%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?
The BSE Sensex is at 81,473.6 (down 0.1%).
The top losers among the BSE Sensex today are Hindustan Unilever (down 1.5%) and Maruti Suzuki (down 1.4%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Tata Steel and Tata Motors.
In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 24,603.5 (down 0.2%). Hero Motocorp and APOLLO HOSPITALS are among the top losers in NSE NIFTY.
Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 69,928.5 to 81,473.6, registering a gain of 11,545.0 points (up 16.5%).
ZODIAC ENERGY Financial Update...
ZODIAC ENERGY net profit grew 67.7% YoY to Rs 25 million for the quarter ended September 2024, compared to a profit of Rs 15 million a year ago. Net sales rose 53.3% to Rs 528 million during the period as against Rs 344 million in July-September 2023.
For the year ended March 2024, ZODIAC ENERGY reported 244.0% increase in net profit to Rs 110 million compared to net profit of Rs 32 million during FY23. Revenue of the company grew 59.9% to Rs 2,201 million during FY24.
The current Price to earnings ratio of ZODIAC ENERGY, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 64.1.
