RURAL ELECT. net profit stood at Rs 15 billion for the quarter ended June 2018, compared to a profit of Rs 13 billion a year ago. Net Sales rose 4.4% to Rs 57.4 billion during the period as against Rs 55.0 billion in April-June 2017.

For the year ended March 2018, RURAL ELECT. reported 25.7% decrease in net profit to Rs 46.9 billion compared to net profit of Rs 63.1 billion during FY17.

Revenue of the company grew 4.7% to Rs 231 billion during FY18.

The current Price to earnings ratio of RURAL ELECT., based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 4.7x.
