HERO MOTOCORP Surges by 5%; BSE AUTO Index Up 2.6%

HERO MOTOCORP share price has zoomed 5% and is presently trading at Rs 3,191.

Meanwhile, the BSE AUTO Index is at 20,505 (up 2.6%).

HERO MOTOCORP Financial Update...

HERO MOTOCORP net profit stood at Rs 10 billion for the quarter ended September 2018, compared to a profit of Rs 8 billion a year ago. Net Sales rose 24.4% to Rs 90.9 billion during the period as against Rs 73.1 billion in July-September 2017.

For the year ended March 2018, HERO MOTOCORP reported 13.7% increase in net profit to Rs 36.7 billion compared to net profit of Rs 32.3 billion during FY17.

Revenue of the company grew 6.8% to Rs 331 billion during FY18.

The current Price to earnings ratio of HERO MOTOCORP, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 17.4x.
