RELIANCE INFRA Plunges by 6%; BSE POWER Index Down 0.4%

RELIANCE INFRA share price has plunged 6% and is presently trading at Rs 229.

Meanwhile, the BSE POWER Index is at 1,828 (down 0.4%).

Among the top losers in the BSE POWER Index today is RELIANCE INFRA (down 6.2%).

SUZLON ENERGY (up 5.8%) and GMR INFRA (up 4.1%) are among the top gainers today.

Over the last one year, RELIANCE INFRA has moved down from Rs 448 to Rs 229, registering a loss of Rs 219 (down 48.9%)..

The BSE POWER has moved down from 2,244 to 1,828, loss of 416 points (down 18.5%) during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE POWER Index stocks during this same period were ADANI TRANSMISSION (up 11.9%) and ADANI POWER (up 10.4%).

RELIANCE INFRA Financial Update...

RELIANCE INFRA net profit down at Rs 34 billion for the quarter ended September 2018, compared to a loss of Rs 532 million a year ago. Net Sales declined 1.9% to Rs 57.5 billion during the period as against Rs 58.6 billion in July-September 2017.

For the year ended March 2018, RELIANCE INFRA reported 468.4% decrease in net profit to Rs 3.6 billion compared to net loss of Rs 966.0 million during FY17.

Revenue of the company grew 3.7% to Rs 254 billion during FY18.

The current Price to earnings ratio of RELIANCE INFRA, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at down 2.4x.
