HINDUSTAN COPPER Surges by 5%; BSE METAL Index Up 2.6%

HINDUSTAN COPPER share price has zoomed 5% and is presently trading at Rs 47.

Meanwhile, the BSE METAL Index is at 10,482 (up 2.6%).

HINDUSTAN COPPER Financial Update...

HINDUSTAN COPPER net profit stood at Rs 353 million for the quarter ended September 2018, compared to a profit of Rs 190 million a year ago. Net Sales declined 4.4% to Rs 4.7 billion during the period as against Rs 4.9 billion in July-September 2017.

For the year ended March 2018, HINDUSTAN COPPER reported 28.4% increase in net profit to Rs 798.0 million compared to net profit of Rs 622.0 million during FY17.

Revenue of the company grew 31.2% to Rs 17 billion during FY18.

The current Price to earnings ratio of HINDUSTAN COPPER, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 37.9x.
