NCC Plunges by 10%; BSE REALTY Index Up 0.3%

NCC share price has plunged 10% and is presently trading at Rs 110.

Meanwhile, the BSE REALTY Index is at 2,212 (up 0.3%).

Among the top losers in the BSE REALTY Index today is NCC (down 9.7%).

GODREJ PROPERTIES (up 1.3%) and PHOENIX MILL (up 1.2%) are among the top gainers today.

Over the last one year, NCC has moved down from Rs 121 to Rs 110, registering a loss of Rs 11 (down 9.2%)..

The BSE REALTY has moved down from 2,254 to 2,212, loss of 42 points (down 1.9%) during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE REALTY Index stocks during this same period were GODREJ PROPERTIES (up 21.0%), SUNTECK REALTY (up 19.9%) and PRESTIGE ESTATES (up 10.6%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 40,011 (up 0.4%). The top gainers among the BSE Sensex stocks today are COAL INDIA (up 4.0%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are COAL INDIA and YES BANK.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 12,012 (up 0.5%). COAL INDIA (up 2.9%) is among the top gainers in NSE Nifty.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 34,906 to 40,011, registering a gain of 5,105 points (up 14.6%).

NCC Financial Update...

NCC net profit stood at Rs 2 billion for the quarter ended March 2019, compared to a profit of Rs 2 billion a year ago. Net Sales rose 11.3% to Rs 37.6 billion during the period as against Rs 33.8 billion in January-March 2018.

For the year ended March 2018, NCC reported 125.0% increase in net profit to Rs 2.7 billion compared to net profit of Rs 1.2 billion during FY17.

Revenue of the company grew 6.8% to Rs 84 billion during FY18.

The current Price to earnings ratio of NCC, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 11.1x.
