BLUE STAR share price has plunged 5% and is presently trading at Rs 791.

Meanwhile, the BSE CAPITAL GOODS Index is at 19,795 (up 0.3%).

Among the top losers in the BSE CAPITAL GOODS Index today is BLUE STAR (down 5.1%).

BLUE STAR Financial Update...

BLUE STAR net profit stood at Rs 776 million for the quarter ended March 2019, compared to a profit of Rs 132 million a year ago. Net Sales rose 45.2% to Rs 16.0 billion during the period as against Rs 11.0 billion in January-March 2018.

For the year ended March 2018, BLUE STAR reported 19.9% increase in net profit to Rs 1.5 billion compared to net profit of Rs 1.2 billion during FY17.

Revenue of the company grew 7.4% to Rs 48 billion during FY18.

The current Price to earnings ratio of BLUE STAR, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 34.9x.
