JSW STEEL Financial Update...

JSW STEEL net profit down at Rs 10 billion for the quarter ended June 2019, compared to a loss of Rs 16 billion a year ago. Net Sales declined 2.5% to Rs 198.1 billion during the period as against Rs 203.2 billion in April-June 2018.

For the year ended March 2019, JSW STEEL reported 19.2% increase in net profit to Rs 75.5 billion compared to net profit of Rs 63.4 billion during FY18.

Revenue of the company grew 15.8% to Rs 848 billion during FY19.

The current Price to earnings ratio of JSW STEEL, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 7.9x.
