DISH TV Plunges by 11%; BSE 500 Index Up 0.1%

DISH TV share price has plunged 11% and is presently trading at Rs 17.

Meanwhile, the BSE 500 Index is at 15,123 (up 0.1%).

Among the top losers in the BSE 500 Index today are DISH TV (down 10.5%) and INFOSYS (down 14.4%).

RELIANCE POWER (up 19.8%) and GRANULES INDIA (up 15.5%) are among the top gainers today.

Over the last one year, DISH TV has moved down from Rs 47 to Rs 17, registering a loss of Rs 30 (down 64.2%)..

The BSE 500 has moved up from 13,705 to 15,123, registering a gain of 1,418 points (up 10.3%) during the last 12 months.

DISH TV Financial Update...

DISH TV net profit down at Rs 354 million for the quarter ended June 2019, compared to a loss of Rs 2 billion a year ago. Net Sales declined 39.0% to Rs 9.3 billion during the period as against Rs 15.2 billion in April-June 2018.

For the year ended March 2019, DISH TV reported 1270.3% increase in net profit to Rs 11.6 billion compared to net loss of Rs 849.0 million during FY18.

Revenue of the company grew 33.1% to Rs 62 billion during FY19.

The current Price to earnings ratio of DISH TV, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at down 2.2x.
