ORIENTAL BANK share price has zoomed 5% and is presently trading at Rs 59.

Meanwhile, the BSE BANKEX Index is at 36,275 (up 0.4%).

Among the top Gainers in the BSE BANKEX Index today is ORIENTAL BANK (up 5.2%).

KOTAK MAHINDRA BANK and HDFC BANK (down 0.4%) are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, ORIENTAL BANK has moved down from Rs 90 to Rs 59, registering a loss of Rs 30 (down 34.1%).

ORIENTAL BANK Financial Update...

ORIENTAL BANK net profit down at Rs 1 billion for the quarter ended September 2019, compared to a loss of Rs 1 billion a year ago. Operating income rose 6.9% to Rs 48.8 billion during the period as against Rs 45.6 billion in July-September 2018.

For the year ended March 2019, ORIENTAL BANK reported 100.9% decrease in net profit to Rs 550.0 million compared to net profit of Rs 58.7 billion during FY18.

Revenue of the company grew 2.8% to Rs 179 billion during FY19.

The current Price to earnings ratio of ORIENTAL BANK, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 13.8x.
