KIOCL Surges by 5%; BSE METAL Index Down 0.1%

KIOCL share price has zoomed 5% and is presently trading at Rs 125.

Meanwhile, the BSE METAL Index is at 10,668 (down 0.1%).

Among the top Gainers in the BSE METAL Index today is KIOCL (up 5.4%).

COAL INDIA and VEDANTA LTD (down 0.1%) are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, KIOCL has moved down from Rs 155 to Rs 125, registering a loss of Rs 30 (down 20.7%).

On the other hand, the BSE METAL has moved down from 11,347 to 10,668, loss of 679 points (down 6.0%) during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE METAL Index stocks during this same period were NMDC LTD (up 36.6%), JINDAL STEEL & POWER (up 9.8%) and HINDALCO (up 2.3%).

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 12,261 (down 0.2%). ONGC (up 2.3%) is among the top gainers in NSE Nifty.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 35,892 to 41,636, registering a gain of 5,744 points (up 15.8%).
