TATA COMM. Plunges by 5%; BSE 500 Index Up 0.5%

TATA COMM. share price has plunged 5% and is presently trading at Rs 414.

Meanwhile, the BSE 500 Index is at 15,972 (up 0.5%).

Among the top losers in the BSE 500 Index today are TATA COMM. (down 5.0%) and ABB INDIA (down 5.2%).

TATA COMM. Financial Update...

TATA COMM. net profit down at Rs 576 million for the quarter ended December 2019, compared to a loss of Rs 2 billion a year ago. Net Sales declined 1.0% to Rs 42.3 billion during the period as against Rs 42.7 billion in October-December 2018.

For the year ended March 2018, TATA COMM. reported 77.7% decrease in net profit to Rs 662.0 million compared to net profit of Rs 3.0 billion during FY17.

Revenue of the company grew 5.5% to Rs 167 billion during FY18.

The current Price to earnings ratio of TATA COMM., based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 76.1x.
