INDRAPRASTHA GAS Surges by 10%; BSE OIL & GAS Index Up 4.5%

INDRAPRASTHA GAS share price has zoomed 10% and is presently trading at Rs 429.

Meanwhile, the BSE OIL & GAS Index is at 10,757 (up 4.5%).

Among the top Gainers in the BSE OIL & GAS Index today are INDRAPRASTHA GAS (up 10.4%) and BPCL (up 10.1%).

CASTROL INDIA (down 0.7%) is among the top loser today.

Over the last one year, INDRAPRASTHA GAS has moved up from Rs 297 to Rs 429, registering a gain of Rs 131 (up 44.1%).

On the other hand, the BSE OIL & GAS has moved down from 14,798 to 10,757, loss of 4,041 points (down 27.5%) during the last 12 months.

INDRAPRASTHA GAS Financial Update...

INDRAPRASTHA GAS net profit stood at Rs 3 billion for the quarter ended December 2019, compared to a profit of Rs 2 billion a year ago. Net Sales rose 10.4% to Rs 18.4 billion during the period as against Rs 16.6 billion in October-December 2018.

For the year ended March 2019, INDRAPRASTHA GAS reported 16.2% increase in net profit to Rs 7.6 billion compared to net profit of Rs 6.5 billion during FY18.

Revenue of the company grew 26.9% to Rs 64 billion during FY19.

The current Price to earnings ratio of INDRAPRASTHA GAS, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 27.1x.
