NATCO PHARMA Plunges by 10%; BSE HEALTHCARE Index Down 5.2%

NATCO PHARMA share price has plunged 10% and is presently trading at Rs 508.

Meanwhile, the BSE HEALTHCARE Index is at 11,753 (down 5.2%).

Among the top losers in the BSE HEALTHCARE Index today are NATCO PHARMA (down 10.1%) and CAPLIN POINT (down 10.9%).

IPCA LABS (up 9.1%) and THYROCARE TECHNOLOGIES (up 6.2%) are among the top gainers today.

NATCO PHARMA Financial Update...

NATCO PHARMA net profit down at Rs 1 billion for the quarter ended December 2019, compared to a loss of Rs 2 billion a year ago. Net Sales declined 13.4% to Rs 4.8 billion during the period as against Rs 5.6 billion in October-December 2018.

For the year ended March 2019, NATCO PHARMA reported 7.6% decrease in net profit to Rs 6.4 billion compared to net profit of Rs 7.0 billion during FY18.

Revenue of the company grew 4.9% to Rs 21 billion during FY19.

The current Price to earnings ratio of NATCO PHARMA, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 3.6x.
