CHALET HOTELS Plunges by 10%; BSE 500 Index Down 2.5%

CHALET HOTELS share price has plunged 10% and is presently trading at Rs 121.

Meanwhile, the BSE 500 Index is at 11,969 (down 2.5%).

Among the top losers in the BSE 500 Index today are CHALET HOTELS (down 10.5%) and M&M FINANCIAL SERVICES (down 14.0%).

WABCO INDIA (up 8.3%) and HATHWAY CABLE (up 7.8%) are among the top gainers today.

Over the last one year, CHALET HOTELS has moved down from Rs 341 to Rs 121, registering a loss of Rs 220 (down 64.5%)..

The BSE 500 has moved down from 14,498 to 11,969, loss of 2,529 points (down 17.4%) during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE 500 Index stocks during this same period were ADANI GREEN ENERGY (up 498.4%), ABBOTT INDIA (up 139.5%) and NAVIN FLUORINE (up 124.1%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 31,248 (down 2.6%). The top gainers among the BSE Sensex stocks today are HCL TECHNOLOGIES (up 1.0%), INFOSYS (up 0.9%) and ITC (up 0.5%). Other gainer include TECH MAHINDRA . The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are ITC and INFOSYS.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 9,158 (down 2.9%). CIPLA (up 3.3%) and BHARTI INFRATEL (up 1.1%) are among the top gainers in NSE Nifty.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved down from 37,115 to 31,248, registering a loss of 5,867 points (down 18.36%).
