GUJARAT GAS Surges by 6%; BSE OIL & GAS Index Up 1.3%

GUJARAT GAS share price has zoomed 6% and is presently trading at Rs 267.

Meanwhile, the BSE OIL & GAS Index is at 12,277 (up 1.3%).

Among the top Gainers in the BSE OIL & GAS Index today is GUJARAT GAS (up 6.3%).

CASTROL INDIA (down 0.7%) is among the top loser today.

Over the last one year, GUJARAT GAS has moved up from Rs 187 to Rs 267, registering a gain of Rs 80 (up 42.4%).

On the other hand, the BSE OIL & GAS has moved down from 15,875 to 12,277, loss of 3,598 points (down 23.0%) during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE OIL & GAS Index stocks during this same period were INDRAPRASTHA GAS (up 41.8%), RELIANCE IND. (up 15.3%) and PETRONET LNG (up 1.1%).

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved down from 40,268 to 34,423, registering a loss of 5,845 points (down 14.76%).
