D. B. CORP Surges by 13%; BSE 500 Index Up 1.1%

D. B. CORP share price has zoomed 13% and is presently trading at Rs 74.

Meanwhile, the BSE 500 Index is at 13,133 (up 1.1%).

Among the top Gainers in the BSE 500 Index today are D. B. CORP (up 12.8%) and CHALET HOTELS (up 13.7%).

D. B. CORP Financial Update...

D. B. CORP net profit stood at Rs 816 million for the quarter ended December 2019, compared to a profit of Rs 756 million a year ago. Net Sales declined 9.2% to Rs 6.0 billion during the period as against Rs 6.6 billion in October-December 2018.

For the year ended March 2019, D. B. CORP reported 15.5% decrease in net profit to Rs 2.7 billion compared to net profit of Rs 3.2 billion during FY18.

Revenue of the company grew 6.6% to Rs 25 billion during FY19.

The current Price to earnings ratio of D. B. CORP, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 4.2x.
