KEI INDUSTRIES Surges by 5%; BSE POWER Index Up 0.9%

KEI INDUSTRIES share price has zoomed 5% and is presently trading at Rs 350.

Meanwhile, the BSE POWER Index is at 1,547 (up 0.9%).

Among the top Gainers in the BSE POWER Index today are KEI INDUSTRIES (up 5.1%) and RELIANCE INFRA (up 9.9%).

POWER GRID (down 0.2%) is among the top loser today.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved down from 40,084 to 34,357, registering a loss of 5,727 points (down 14.52%).

KEI INDUSTRIES Financial Update...

KEI INDUSTRIES net profit down at Rs 608 million for the quarter ended March 2020, compared to a loss of Rs 723 million a year ago. Net Sales declined 4.2% to Rs 12.6 billion during the period as against Rs 13.1 billion in January-March 2019.

For the year ended March 2018, KEI INDUSTRIES reported 54.3% increase in net profit to Rs 1.4 billion compared to net profit of Rs 938.0 million during FY17.

Revenue of the company grew 23.7% to Rs 35 billion during FY18.

The current Price to earnings ratio of KEI INDUSTRIES, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 10.7x.
