HINDUSTAN COPPER Surges by 5%; BSE METAL Index Up 1.4%

HINDUSTAN COPPER share price has zoomed 5% and is presently trading at Rs 33.

Meanwhile, the BSE METAL Index is at 7,628 (up 1.4%).

HINDUSTAN COPPER Financial Update...

HINDUSTAN COPPER net profit down at Rs 955 million for the quarter ended December 2019, compared to a loss of Rs 346 million a year ago. Net Sales declined 80.3% to Rs 933.0 million during the period as against Rs 4.7 billion in October-December 2018.

For the year ended March 2019, HINDUSTAN COPPER reported 82.2% increase in net profit to Rs 1.5 billion compared to net profit of Rs 798.0 million during FY18.

Revenue of the company grew 5.6% to Rs 18 billion during FY19.

The current Price to earnings ratio of HINDUSTAN COPPER, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at down 211.9x.
