DLF Share Price Up by 5%; BSE REALTY Index Up 2.7%

DLF share price has zoomed 5% and is presently trading at Rs 197.

Meanwhile, the BSE REALTY Index is at 2,122 (up 2.7%).

Among the top Gainers in the BSE REALTY Index today are DLF (up 5.3%) and INDIABULLS REAL EST (up 7.0%).

PHOENIX MILL (down 0.2%) is among the top loser today.

Over the last one year, DLF has moved down from Rs 220 to Rs 197, registering a loss of Rs 23 (down 10.4%).

On the other hand, the BSE REALTY has moved down from 2,137 to 2,122, loss of 15 points (down 0.9%) during the last 12 months.

The top buzzing stocks among the BSE REALTY Index stocks during this same period were GODREJ PROPERTIES (up 32.7%) and INDIABULLS REAL EST (up 0.4%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 44,470 (up 0.4%).

The top gainers among the BSE Sensex stocks today are ULTRATECH CEMENT (up 2.4%), INFOSYS (up 2.2%) and BAJAJ AUTO (up 1.8%). Other gainers include INDUSIND BANK (up 1.7%) and TATA STEEL (up 1.5%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are SBI and ITC.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 13,064 (up 0.4%). The top gainers in the NSE Nifty include GAIL (up 3.8%), ULTRATECH CEMENT (up 2.5%) and SHREE CEMENT (up 2.4%). Other gainers include GRASIM (up 2.2%) and INFOSYS (up 2.2%) are among the top gainers in NSE Nifty.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 40,821 to 44,470, registering a gain of 3,649 points (up 8.56%).

DLF Financial Update...

DLF net profit down at Rs 2 billion for the quarter ended June 2020, compared to a loss of Rs 2 billion a year ago. Net Sales declined 59.1% to Rs 5.5 billion during the period as against Rs 13.4 billion in April-June 2019.

For the year ended March 2018, DLF reported 1305.7% decrease in net profit to Rs 44.7 billion compared to net profit of Rs 3.7 billion during FY17.

Revenue of the company grew 18.4% to Rs 67 billion during FY18.

The current Price to earnings ratio of DLF, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at down 19.5x.
