DISH TV Share Price Up by 12%; BSE 500 Index Up 0.8%

DISH TV share price has zoomed 12% and is presently trading at Rs 16.

Meanwhile, the BSE 500 Index is at 17,734 (up 0.8%).

Among the top Gainers in the BSE 500 Index today is DISH TV (up 12.2%).

JSW STEEL and TECH MAHINDRA are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, DISH TV has moved up from Rs 14 to Rs 16, registering a gain of Rs 2 (up 13.1%).

DISH TV Financial Update...

DISH TV net profit declined 196.6% YoY to Rs 645 million for the quarter ended September 2020, compared to a loss of Rs 668 million a year ago. Net Sales declined 2.5% to Rs 8.5 billion during the period as against Rs 8.7 billion in July-September 2019.

For the year ended March 2020, DISH TV reported 34.7% decrease in net profit to Rs 2.6 billion compared to net profit of Rs 4.0 billion during FY19.

Revenue of the company grew 42.3% to Rs 36 billion during FY20.

The current Price to earnings ratio of DISH TV, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at down 2.1x.
